Waiting Period

There is a 24-hour waiting period for QMBS breakdown service following the processing and approval of applications.

Breakdown Services Benefits

Upon purchasing QMBS MEMBERSHIP, you will receive a MEMBERSHIP PACK.

Fees

Breakdown service is valid for one year from the payment of the annual fee. A renewal will be issue approximately 4 weeks prior to the expiry date.
If you choose to upgrade your QMBS PACKAGE; additional fees apply to upgrade options.
All fees are valid from 11 April 2025 and are inclusive of GST.
Services are provided as per the benefits and limits of the selected QMBS PACKAGE. Where the cost of these services exceeds the benefit limit, some additional fees may be incurred by the rider- eg excess kilometers (see section below under Additional Charges)

Additional Charges

EXTRA KILOMETRE CHARGE applies if you require transport outside your membership coverage inclusion. Extra kilometre charge at a rate between $5.50p/k to $7.70p/k depending on business hours: between 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri will be charged at $5.50p/k, Outside these times (including Public Holidays) will be charged at $7.70p/k. Radius to be used as an approximate guide only. Accurate pricing and distance are calculated on exact kilometres to travel”

Kilometer Charges

All KMs will be charged accordingly from the relevant depot eg Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane, South Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Cancellations and Refunds

QMBS fees and other fees paid to QMBS and its Contractors are non refundable. No refunds will be given on an unexpired subscription.

Callouts

Unused callouts cannot be carried forward into the following year.

Membership

When you purchase QMBS PACKAGE you will become an QMBS member.

Membership Terms and Conditions

• QMBS membership is available to individuals and businesses that meet the relevant eligibility criteria.

• The member will have the rights set out in the package breakdown for their membership class.

• The member will remain a member of QMBS unless membership is terminated due to negligence or fraud.

• Call outs apply to roadside breakdowns.

• No off road assistance is available through QMBS.

*   if you are on a Premium package, you can use one of your call outs for personal reasons eg getting your motorcycle to a service.  Please note this is one personal call out per annual membership.

Please allow up to two (2) hours from time of initial call.

Secure Transactions

QMBS uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for the safe transfer of your Payment and information.

Multiple Motorcycle Policy (Premium Plus)

Once a full price Premium membership has been purchased the multiple bike discount applies to a second and third motorcycle only. There must be a current full price membership of the same level for a member to become eligible for a package plus discount membership. Plus package motorcycle will only be able to share the callouts available with the full price membership. Extras and bonuses are only available on the full price membership package.

Any motorcycles added on a "PLUS" policy will only be valid whilst the original full priced membership is active. Once full priced membership is renewed, any existing "PLUS" policies will resume until expiry date (12 months from "PLUS" policy purchased) has been reached.

*   Please note that each “additional” motorcycle will be at a cost of $59 per motorcycle. 

Locked Steering

Please note that there will be an extraction equipment fee applicable if your steering is locked, payable at time of booking.

Membership Transfer

Membership can be transferred between owners, new owner must update personal details on website once motorcycle has been sold/bought.

Outside Coverage Area

QMBS could use a third party service provider to assist. This would be at member's cost.

Dealer Only Transport Option

Can only be redeemed on a platinum package. Contact QMBS office on 0455 444 464 or accounts@mctow.com.au

Service Centre Charges

Initial roadside breakdown and transport to service centre will be covered by QMBS as one call-out. Any further costs incurred by the service centre will be covered by rider.
